Just joining this particular ring is stretching my abilities!! I've already carved my stamp though and it turned out really good. I may have to do more Amy Brown's later on!!

When I sign up for a swap, I have to carve my stamp immediately or I won't do it until last minute. This forces me to stay on top of my obligations.

Of course, it doesn't allow me much time to make just singles.

YIKES! Okay, I can't do that many! I was thinking that 18 were pushing it for something that detailed. I got to stick with the rings under 20! Unless this is breaking into a smaller second group, I better be glad I didn't get in. My loss I am sure for being so very slow!

Boy you get backed up on reading and keeping up with the posts and look what happens ;-)

It is a good thing that this one closed because I probably could not have avoided it. But dont worry if you have ever seen my trail stamp then you have seen my amy brown, well kind of. I used "Night Blossom" and then added to it to make / carve my sig stamp.

I do love her work though.

AW----so HOW was it that you were even able to save any of these images at all?? I cannot seem to save them to a file, to my desktop....right clicking doesn't work....I'm still confused how you did that since they seem seem to be lock/protected. haaaaelp! =)

Anything you can put on your screen, you can save. Simply get the whole image on your screen, then push "print screen". It's a key on your keyboard. Now open your favorite image editing software and hit paste. You will get the entire screen, so you'll have to edit out the tool bars and such, and you won't get the resolution that you would have.. but it works in a pinch.

I used Google Images to search on "Amy Brown" and found the image I wanted on another website that didn't lock it.

I guess I took the lazy way out --- I just used my digital camera and took a photo of the image on screen using the Macro/Super Macro option with no flash and went from there. The image is really clear and I can see all of the detail. This works best with a flat screen monitor.

I haven't had the chance to look at all the pics - very busy week for us, and we are getting home late and going to bed early, starting the whole process all over again the next day ;-))

I'll be able to have more time on the computer this weekend - can't wait to check out all the neat pics - but it will be so hard to decide ;-))
