Everyone,

This is an email that I got today. I've spoken with Amy of LUNA Crew, and it's true. If you've ever met Amy and Frank, you know that they are warm, wonderful people. Sadly, they've fallen on some financial difficulty. Tricia is a friend of theirs who is putting together an event to help them out.

I'm going to create an event stamp that will be at the event, and possibly some limited edition LTCs (if there is an interest in that) for those who attend.

The text of the email (with details on the situation and the event) is below:

The Berlin-Whitehead family (the LUNA Crew) has fallen on bad times and really needs your help.

As you may or may not know, due to a series of unfortunate events in their lives, Amy, Frank and family are at risk of losing their house. They have had a really bad time of it over the last year, beginning with the loss of their
two-year old son Eric, Frank's injury at work which prevents him from earning overtime income, and the decision by the court system to award the twins they were about to adopt to someone else instead of them.
All of this has resulted in lost income and financial hardship that has caused them to default on their mortgage, and their house is now going into foreclosure. They need money to pay off the bank: by 10/28. You can help by joining us at a fundraising party!
