OMG!!!!!! (not the event) Now this is a historic day!!!! OMG!!! FIRST, there were the legends whose names came first and caused you to sit in admiration, in awe at this amazing path inked in life. They caused your jaw to drop at the awesome amazingness of this true path to enlightenment.

THEN, there came the ones who taught a lone soul, and are still teaching one, the way along the path. The ones who inspire you to struggle beyond your potential. Those Mentors who say, "I have taught you all that I can. And you are still &%$#@# up." Those who have invested every dime in you; but draw the line at quarters and beyond that, hang up the phone and call their investment brokers.

BUT, then there are the few, the very few. The ones of mythos and magic. The ones of legend and legacy. The ones who leave an impression on those whom they touch, and no matter how many times they scrub and soak and sand their bodies, can undo the affect that they have on others' lives. The larger-than-life creatures whose mere presence make you shake and shiver in abject fear. Or is that uncontrollable fits of laughter? Sorry! My mistake. (grovel, grovel!!!) I'll continue....

Those gods or goddesses in whom the world echos their peels of laughter, their terrible eruptions of anger, their sudden and swift deluges of sadness, their melancholy lines of mediocraty.

THESE are the few who matter!! These are the few who change our lives!!! These are the few who make us stand back and exlaim in tremendous awe and utter abject confoundedness, "WTF!?!?!?!" These are the few, who through inhuman mind, body and soul, cause us to stand together and look on in admiration and worship, as we call the funny farm in the most dire of emergencies we could never have dreamed possible.

You have burned your image on our minds. You have corrupted our souls. You have made this writer see stamps that his mind could never have comprehended, and can never purge throughout eternity, because they are printed in the Book of Log (you'll pay for that).

YOU are on the top of that pile. YOU are a legend, in your own mind, in our minds. You are irreplaceable. You are unique. You are special. You are loved. You are touched. You are definately touched. And you have seen the niplets. That elevates you among the highest touched.

We honor your immortal presence here in the land of AQ. Our lives will never be the same.

Oh Dear Bubbaloo, you just made my day! My eye's are slightly damp but i have a hug smile on my face, from this wonderful post! I feel very honored!

I got into LBing 5 years ago, on Vetrans Day, took off and found our first letterbox in Portsmouth (The famous and missing: Portsmouth Alarm) and I have been hooked ever since!!!!!

This past year has been quite the trip though, so many changes in my life, but I love letterboxing and the people I have met, like you and your lovely wifie! I would never have gotten to know the per say niplets if not! Ok, I don't really know them, but i do have photo proof of them!

Thank you for postig such a wonderful message, you just made me feel like a crazy susper star, you know, like the ones on the B list....... :}

I hope to get to hang out with you and your B3 soon, hit some trails and have more fun!!!!
