To all my Virtual Letterboxing Friends, I am busting out all over. As of 5:28 PM (MST) I became a Grandmother to a precious little girl with blue eyes and blond hair. She is my first grandchild and her mother is my only child. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. :)

Sending you a virtual hug in honor of your first grandchild! Reading your news just gave me chills as I have 3 grandchildren and the most recent is a girl. As you will see, there is nothing like it. The wonderment of the world's simplest things through the eyes of a child is a precious gift. Congrats to you and your daughter and don't forget to snap that generational photo for the scrapbook.

Congratulations!!! There is nothing, I say Nothing like Grandparenthood!!!! I have been a grammie for 6 1/2 years to 3 precious children - 2 boys and a girl, and am loving it totally!!!!

Wow! How fantastic for you. I can still remember how excited I felt when my granddaughter was born almost 14 years ago. Since then, Grandpa and I have shared many special moments with her and her brother (who arrived two years later). Grandchildren are a wonderful gift. Enjoy!

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel. I just became a first time grandma (Nana) on January 23 of this year. It was a little boy and the apple of my eye. (blushing)
