So.....are you in this for the long haul?

I have been awed and amazed by the rings starting way in the future, so I thought I'd do a little experiment (once a sociology major....)...called Postal Letterboxing Survivor.

I'm taking sign-ups through May 26, 2007...and then the ring starts May 26, 2008.

Will you still be postal letterboxing then? Or will you have become a black hole, moved to Tierra del Fuego, had quintuples or gone off the grid? Come on and sign up and we'll see who the PLB survivors are! No immunity idols to fight over, you just have to hang around here for a year.

Box theme is open, but it would be amusing if you did a box along the elimination lines...your favorite reality show, pirates walking the plank, musical chairs, etc.

No recycled boxes please. Let's have a blast with this!

Wouldn't it be fun to require everyone's box to be done in a few weeks then make them hold on to it for a year, without sharing it with anyone. Would you lose the box? I probably would! Lol!

So if somebody who has signed up *does* have quintuplets, moves to Tierra del Fuego, goes off the electrical grid, or becomes a black hole, any chance that I can take their place? :)

I am actually considering two groups...to see which tribe has the most survivors.

Is this because I sometimes put a drop of honey on some choices and let which ever ones stuck to the dog into the rings? Or because I sometimes put the print outs down on the floor and which ever one Liz, the cat that can't stand up, falls over onto gets into the ring?

I'll be thinking about this while heading to see if that Dirty Dancing box is still at Chimney Rock, NC tomorrow.

By the way, Office Depot here is doing big clearance on padded envelopes in the sale bins. I loaded up on those plasticky 3M (hi 3Ms) Scotch (that's whiskey with an E!...or is it?) brand.
