Hi!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm back from my travels and have been trying to catch up with everything. I have 4 PLBs at home and I'll be logging in tonight and sending them on their merry ways tomorrow. I can hardly wait to see what I have to play with. There are boxes from three different rings waiting for me (it was hard not to grab them and spirit them off to work....).

Thanks for your patience while I was away for a much-needed break. We found (and ate) lots of mushrooms, saw lots of wildlife (even bear tracks and den, but no bear...). I didn't bring any 'shrooms home, though. My big brother had a plan he wanted to try out, so he's got them drying on a big screen near the wood stove at the family homestead.

And would you believe that the kind folks that stayed at my house while I was gone actually swept and vacuumed everything? I need to leave town more often!! LOL!

Hmmmm.... why do I think I might come home to a huge pile of PZ Kut and Speedball shavings and a much smaller stack of carving materials? Of course, the upside is that there would probably be a bunch more letterboxes planted in my area! LOL!

My house-sitters aren't carvers, but I think they must take better care of the plants and animals than I do! They certainly take better care of the house! ;-)
