Drive to the parking lot right next to the Arboretum Centre. Then entrance to the Arboretum is off of College Road near Victoria Road. At the Centre walk up to the silver Queen Victoria, she's overlooking the cement pond. From Queen Victoria's back:
Walk downhill to the gravel path, about 7 paces. To your left you will see 2 birch trees on either side of the path. Go to them. One is marked "Betula papyrifera PAPER BIRCH in loving memory of Marie Therese". The other is dedicated by the Shrine Club. Turn right at this tree and walk along the grassy path for 10 paces where you will come to a "SILVER MAPLE Acer saccharinum" on the right and further down another Acer saccharinum in memory of Thomas Carroll. Stand between 2 trees, facing the tree in memory of Thomas Carroll. On the left and other side of the grassy path is a cluster of hardwood trees (with no marker). 6--trunks. You'll find the camo'd little lock n lock, at the bottom of the cluster. Cover it up well before you leave.
Not winter friendly. it will likely be frozen in.
