If you'd like to see scanned pages of the old logbook, I've got them on my blog. Contact me for the password.
I would love to know if you find the box. If you don't mind, please log your find here. In addition to making my day, it will also help others to know that the box has been recently found intact.

Difficulty: 1.5 (on a scale of 1-5)
Terrain: 1.5
Scenic: especially in the Spring/Summer/Fall seasons. Picturesque former boat house now ice cream parlour and tea room is across the river. Unique timberframe pedestrian bridge nearby.
Watch for muggles.
Hitchhiker friendly: Room in the box for a small hitchhiker. Room beside the box for a small HH in it's own container.
Winter: may become frozen in. Snow will make it difficult to locate.
Other letterboxes/geocaches/ecoscavengers/waymarks in the area: see below for more information.
An easy urban letterbox in Guelph, Ontario.
From the 401 take exit 299 (Brock Rd 46). Brock Rd becomes Gordon Street as it nears the University. Drive past the University and downhill towards downtown. Cross over the Speed River and park in the lot adjacent to the covered footbridge, a lawn bowling green and the Boathouse Tea Room. Walk south on Gordon Street and cross back over the Speed River to Marianne’s Park.
In Marianne's Park you'll see 2 benches near the river. One faces the river, the other faces into the park. Sit on the one that faces the river. About 5 metres ahead and to the right about 30 degrees lies the letterbox. Be very discrete please. The little park is usually quiet but it's next to a busy street with lots of pedestrian traffic and across the river the Boathouse Tea Room is a popular spot for people to hang out and enjoy the river views.
Please cover it up really well when you leave. Thanks and enjoy the find.
Walk down Water Street and you'll get to

I enjoy feedback. Positive feedback inspires me to hide more boxes. Not so positive feedback is useful too, it helps me tweak the clues or the location of the box to make the find a better experience for boxers.
- I think a lot of letterboxers worry about taking too much room up in the logbook - if you find one of mine, take as much room as you need
- And I'd appreciate an email if the logbook gets down to one empty page, then I'll go out and replace it asap
- Due to bleed-through it's best not to stamp on the back of pages that have already been stamped or written on.
