The Rice Owls have had yet another terrific baseball season. We were lucky enough to have tickets to both the regional and the super regional, so we got to cheer the guys as they punched their ticket to Omaha. As alums, we remember going to games when it seemed like there were 100 people in the stands, so standing in a throng of 5,000 is a wonderful experience.
Regardless of whether they finish first or last at the College World Series, this box celebrates a great season. It is hidden near the campus, but not on the campus.
