1.Go to Lorrimier Sanctuary at 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Drive into the parking lot.
2.Look for the big glass case labeled "Trails and Programs" that is located outside. Then look to your far left and find the butterfly garden. Walk to it.
3. You should then see a small barn called "Pole Barn" and walk toward it. Take the mowed path (with the split rail fence to your left) until you reach a small shed. You then should see a sandbox.
4. With the sandbox at our back, facing the woods you should see a sign for the Woodland Trail. At the V at the start of the trail, take the path to your left.
5. Continue on the trail until trail marker 15. You should almost immediately cross the wooden plank bridge. On your left will be many big loose boulders. Look for the tree with the V and watch out for the posion ivy rope on it. To the right of the tree is a boulder and behind it in its base is the box you seek.
