Today we visited Willard Brook State Forest in Ashby, MA. We had so much fun there and liked it so much, we planted a letterbox as a reminder of our visit.
To find the box, head to Willard Brook State Forest on Rte. 119 in Ashby, MA. There is a $5.00 parking fee. (If you have a park pass, it is free to park.) Park in the main lot.
After parking, walk past the mini ranger station and the beach. Continue on passing the bathrooms and another beach. As you continue around the pond you'll cross over 2 footbridges.
After crossing the second foot bridge, walk over to the GIANT rock. On the left side of the giant rock is a cluster of rocks. In this cluster of rocks under the edge of one of them is where you will find the Willard Brook State Forest Letterbox. Please make sure to rehide well.
You can get back to your car by going back the way you came. I hope you enjoyed your visit here as much as we did.
