Start at the base of Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty Tauranga New Zealand.
Begin your hunt at Pilot Bay, walk 200m up the Mount from the public toilets you will see a sign that reads-" to summit"take the 4x4 track go up the stairs to the right.
When you get to the gate turn left and walk up hill. You will walk past a small clearing looking out onto Tauranga Port.
Keep going round clockwise + up till you can see the island of Matakana below you.
You will keep going until you see a water tank.At the water tank look down and you will see a row of huge trees.
Go off the track down hill in between the the 9th tree from the right and the 12th tree from the left you will find a long old concrete drain pipe.
Looking up towards the water tower go to the left end and inside about 10cm in you will find our letterbox!!!
