I only looked for Wood Duck since I was pressed for time. The area is very overgrown and now there is poison ivy on the quadruple tree. I beat some off with a stick and poked around but no dice. Maybe in early spring or late fall it would be a better time. But I found a perfect hidey hole on the back with nothing in it...

YEAH!! It's still there after 3 years with no finders. The logbook is very damp and pages bleeding. We were able to stamp in, but not write in the book. The bridge is operational now, but not to traffic. It's a dead end road and now a foot bridge. Wear orange if you are here during hunting season.

This was a really fun find. However, there WAS a little problem! The bridge on Sour Springs Road is OUT!! So, you have two options; swim across the creek to the other side to get to the "tree", or find another way. The following change should be made to the clues;
Instead of turning right on Roberts, proceed beyond Roberts and turn right on Oak Orchard Ridge Road, continue to the stop sign at the end. Turn right and proceed to the next stop sign. Drive through the Stop sign onto the unpaved Sour Springs to the bridge that is out. You will now be directly on the other side of this bridge and the quadruple tree will now be on your right!!
