Found on accident!

The box for Migration is empty.

contents were soaked so badly the log book had disentegrated. Placed in new baggies, but didn't have extra log book to leave. Was a great start to a beautiful day. Loved the stamp!

Had a mixed day in the Ravine today. After striking out on Mare Bear and Good Books, I managed to find Meg. Meg was a bit damp but not in too bad of shape. I think I found the correct tree for Beeler and the log at the appointed distance but was unable to make the find. Had trouble with friends but made the find on the return trip. The temporary log is full. I found a place on the reverse side to stamp. I found Ivy but the container was badly damaged and was full of water. The log and stamp are soaked and in desperate need of attention. I was unable to stamp the book and unwilling to stamp my book with the soaking wet stamp. I will return to it once it gets fixed. Thanks for the splendid walk in the park on a good day for November. I needed to get out and walk in the woods after working on a kitchen painting project (yuck).

Headed out on a rainy afternoon for a walk in Royalton Ravine. Migration was an easy find once I found the monument and the trail. I have walked past it before but never really looked at it. Migration's log book was quite soaked and starting to mold. I was able to stamp it but it needs some attention. Petra was much drier but the box was totally exposed. I covered it up to keep it safer. Seasons was a little damp but nothing major. The carvings were hard to see on the tree due to a dark and rainy day. I knew what kind of tree I was looking for and found it at the second one spied. Mare Bear gave me some problems. I found two downed logs but could not make the find. Perhaps a day with better weather will have my spirits and patience in better shape. By this time my gloves were soaked and I knew my hands would soon be cold. Time to call it quits. I'll be back soon to try some more. Thanks for this great series in a really cool place!

This place is beautiful but the ravine trails are not for the faint of heart or those who are really bothered by bugs and mud.

GREAT HIKE!

Good books I think we found the spot but it was between the two paths and had the curved root but no box. We looked all over it that area at the end of ever fallen log. I hope we missed it but no luck.
