Hooray! I'm so happy to report this amazing box is still there! There was evidence of last year's fire in the vicinity but the box was fine (albeit the logbook is damp but still stampable - it really could use a new gallon size baggie, which I didn't have). There are no red blazes anymore, and the new white blazes don't align with the clue, but if you walk down the trail from the South View until you stand between two boulders, just a few steps more and you'll see the leaning tree mentioned and the arrowhead rock at about 2:00.

Loved the stamp! Unfortunately the last finder stamped in black so even though we inked correctly, the image was muted. The area has grown in quite a bit but the hiding spot is perfect for this old box. Thank you!

Got lucky on this one. On way to South View I suddenly remembered this stamp was at 3rd trail marker back from 'view'. I just guesstimated at the trail marker; and it turned out to be the right one.
