I also could not find this. Every small tree has a pile of brush, twigs around it. Nice trail, though.

We looked all over the area, stopped at every three trunked tree but could not find one that matched the description. We could have not been in the right place, or perhaps some landmarks have changed.

We looked for this letterbox several different times during the 2011 summer and can't manage to find this. Based on posts under the clue (on the blog) we aren't the only ones. I'm not willing to say it's missing because I'm not sure we found the right spot. Maybe the landmarks have changed?

All's well. This trail has opened up, so you can find Just Ducky if you continue along on the other side of the town well, and vice-versa. I won't say any more than that--you'll have to figure out how to do the clues backward yourself! :-)
