Not frozen in anymore. Ready to be found.

The box is there but it's frozen into place and covered in ice. No point going for it until there's a thaw.

What a great stamp! We cracked up when we saw the theme, it sure took us back...thanks!!

Wow, what a great stamp-location combo! What is this place? It was worth enduring the mosquitoes for this one. Thanks!

Perfect! The location- to the stamp- the carve- to the hiding spot. I do wonder was this a wonderful stamp that found a wonderful location, or a wonderful location that found a wonderful stamp.
Took some pictures of the gate, etc.
Also love the secret little trail to the box- reminded me of secret garden.

Catching up on old unlogged finds

Maintenance visit - new logbook, new felt wrappers and new pencil.

A geocacher contacted me to tell me he found the letterbox today. It was thankfully not taken with the hollow log. Whoever took the hollow log left the letterbox hidden a few feet away in the inside of a piece of old metal and then covered it with a log. How very nice of that person to leave it. I've placed it back in the original area but because the hollow log is gone I found a couple of old fence rail posts to hide it under. Please cover it well before leaving.

The box is gone. What's weird is that whoever took it also took the hollow log it was hiding in. I did a search for the log but didn't find it. Oh well, c'est la vie. I'm going to let this area rest for at least a week and then consider re-carving, re-hiding. Stay tuned.
