Please note: I salvaged all of the papers that had "player logs" written on them from the block of ice. The remainder was so covered in "black mold" that is would not have been healthy to put back into the letterbox itself. I have put these precious records in their separate baggy and placed back into the Letterbox. The Letterbox is as indicated in the writeup and ready to be found.

Greetings Water Lily ...
This Letterbox is indeed easily found where instructed. It only took about 30 seconds to find it. Unfortunately, while the container is in excellent shape - although turned on its edge allowing water to fill it, the small bush is now a big cedar obliterating the 7922 green fire sign - the contents are a solid block of ice. I'm afraid the logbook is toast with all of the sheet covered in black mold. I couldn't even get to the stamp as its within the solid block of ice.
I'm not sure the etiquette in these cases, as a geocacher I generally will try to help the geocache if I can and msg the cache owner.
I have taken the container to work, and have replaced a new Log book in a baggy after signing, rescued the stamp and its covering felt (dried them out) and put it into the dried and cleaned Letterbox container. I will attempt to save the "signed" historical pages, but as I said above, the original logbook is toast and most concerning is the black mold. In the next week or so, I'll dry out what sheets are salvageable put them in a plastic baggy and return them to the Letterbox container. The container has been returned to its location.

I really enjoyed colouring this stamp in - the more I find the more creative I am getting! Thanks Water Lily for another beautiful stamp in this series.

Lovely day for letterboxing. We had hoped to get more of the quilt blocks but only managed to get this one. Your straight lines are so precise...its incredible. Box was in good condition and easy to find. Thank you

I have passed this spot and admired the church and the house across the street (used to have red arched doors) since 1986! I also picked up a hitch hiker in this box called around the world, planted by Rubee, age 9.

There was a HUGE spider guarding this box when we arrived! Left a hitchhiker we picked up earlier in the day. Also, I'm pretty sure that while I was searching for the box, it looked like we had stopped at the side of the road for me to pee.

Very interesting history! ;) Thanks for the quick find and a cute little stamp.

Easy drive up from Elora. Found the box quickly and stamped up in the car. Surprised to see that this time I'm not the first finder. :) Thanks for the quilt block image WL.

Very striking image.
We continued on to Drayton itself and ate at the Drift-In diner - what a hoot! The owner is Greek and her waitress is a young Mennonite girl. Local colour drifted in and helped herself to water and coffee. Service was speedy the food was homemade - worth the kitschy little stop if you're out this way for the stamp.
