I headed over to Westmont Rose and the covered bridge. After some success there, I headed out to search for this one. I found a number of places that matched the instructions, especially one area, the tree and rocks as described, but no letterbox was found. I spent about an hour all told checking into this, searching under and around and a few other areas that weren't exactly to spec, but were close. Again, no success in finding the letterbox.
dastardly :(

So pleasantly surprised to find this box given that the last recorded find was 2017. It is in great condition. I was very happy to be able to add to my quilt! I think I may be missing 4 squares but I think the others are gone.

Road not so quiet...a casino tour bus went around us as we were hunting for this box...LOL! Pretty sure another LBer showed up right after us.

Quick Find and easy clues... west montrose is such a special place for me to visit... my grandfather grew up in the white house beside the covered bridge♡

Beautiful square in a good hiding spot, exactly where the clue suggested!

The telephone poles have all been cut down and new ones installed at different locations. Once we figured that out, we just went looking for cut down poles with elm trees close by . . . and voila!!!!
