The Y tree isn't a Y anymore, but a very large, dead tree that is still standing. The large birch is still across. We never found the uprooted stump, but we think we found the monolith, and there was no stamp. The blue water sign is gone, and in its place is a no trespassing sign. We did not continue.

We respected the Water Authority sign and didn't look for boxes 4-8.

We found box 1, couldn't find the location of box 2, and thoroughly searched the monolith at box 3 with no luck. Then we got to the trail split and found a big NO TRESPASSING sign (courtesy of the water authority) on the right-hand trail. We were bummed but decided to bear left and hike to the Haystack Mountain summit. It was well worth it--incredible view, with some beautiful warblers ! Then, on the way back, we found box 2 exactly where it should have been. Thanks for the fun adventure, even if it wasn't the one we'd planned! :^)

GRILLIN: Never found the stump.
COVERED BRIDGE: Never found the large monolith.
BIRDING: Never found the 20 foot stump.
(There were 7 in our group)

We were unsuccessful finding Grillin' and Chillin' on the deck on our way up the trail, but fould it easily on the way down! We never did find AM Coffee, and we think we were in the right spot. We also love all of these things about Vermont! Thanks for planting this series!

What a great spot for hiking! Thanks so much for the carves and leading us to a new area. We couldn't locate AM Coffee or Bonfire, but believe it was due to snow and ice perhaps covering up the clues. We took a detour and went to the top of Haystack of a most spectacular view!!

really lovely

Wow! This was an adventure... its the Beavers that are making the "walk around" and its bigger now. Very mcuh enjoyed to hike and the search.. good clues.. THANKS!

We were definitely confused about Grillin -- looked under every overturned tree we came across and spent a long time rooting around the one unrooted tree to no avail. It's pretty flooded along the lake so I think the "faint trail" we found was different than that of the posters so the clues were not perfectl aligned. Otherwise, great series and snowshoing and hiking are beautiful stamps!

What a fantastic series! I absolutely loved it, even though I couldn't find two of them.
