Pretty sure we were in the right spot along the river...we saw the pink boulder, the cedar grove, the lone birch and alas the double trunked scraggly juniper...but no box anywhere in sight.

Great treasure hunt! I love Paris :)

Great stamp in a great town!

We missed the birch tree on the first time through but figured we had gone too far and turned back. Was easy find once we were on the right track.

We originally walked right past this box, then figured out we were way beyond where we needed to be. Really great carve, and enjoyed matching it with 'Calling Long Distance'. Log book is damp, and I think getting full.

Found letterbox today :) just wanted to let you know the baggie was soaked on the inside..logbook and felt wet...did our best to dry it out. I put the logbook and stamps in a new dry baggie, left the wet felt in the old baggie. Great park!!

I adore the concept for these 2 stamps! It's just so smart - connecting the two cities like Bell did when making his long distance telephone call. There was a really ghetto wedding going on in the park when we showed up, which was a little awkward for us since we had to walk right past them... Also, I think I have finally figured out what a Juniper tree looks like. Thanks!

our first day of letterboxing was fun :) Going to make our own stamps this weekend hopefully :)

The last time I was in Paris must have been at least 45 years ago. Thanks for planting the box which gave me a reason to visit once again. Lovely park and a wonderful carve with history.
