Enjoyed finding this one; when I was living in Phelps, NY, we used to travel periodicallyvia US20 to Catskill village - which had been my wife's home. Back in the '60s I can recall seeing swans on Hoopes Park pond;we always looked forward to sighting them. And yes, they are beautiful (but noisy) birds. I recently photographed one at the Syracuse zoo, right up close to the glass and in full display. If I had your email address, I'd send you a copy; it's quite stiking.
