Wow. I was happy to find this one. Just look for a decent sized rock approximately 50 steps after the fire Judy.

Wow. Surprised I found this one. Just look for a decent sized rock approximately 50 steps after the fire hydrant.

Pretty sure we found the "spider" but there were no SPOR.
MickeyMouseProfileContactLogbookNote
The spidery tree has been cut down; the box is now located under a rock, on the "spider" that is now fully on the ground. The logbook is charred and the stamp slightly melted - this thunderbird seems to have survived a fire.

not enough land marks to find Bear
ParheliaProfileContactLogbookNote
Very sad to report that I found the melted/charred remains of Thunderbird--it was the victim of a recent brushfire. I had trouble finding Bear but hope to revisit the clues and have better luck soon.
ParheliaProfileContactLogbookNote
I have replaced Thunderbird's container and replanted it with the salvaged remains of the original stamp & logbook. The dead spidery tree now has only one tall charred trunk, but the SPOR is still there.

That first box was very tough even the 2nd time around with updated clues. I counted 63 steps along the first gravel path after the fence, and that twin pine is hard to spot unless you know right where to look.
Rabbit RelationsProfileContactLogbookNote
These were very nice carves! The double dead still-standing trees on the right in the Bear clue are gone, so we relied on the "twin pine on the left". If you could update the clues, future boxers will be very happy.

Beautiful stamp on that second box. I couldn't find the first box for the life of me. Looks like there has been some recent tree cutting and heavy equipment in there near box one.
