Was heading out this way on a daytrip and remembered you had a box hidden here. Glad I made the stop! We were able to drive right up to the location, though it took me a minute to spot the one clue. TFTF!

First Canadian find, traveling from Michigan.

Great stamp. My husband and I both liked it. We didn't see the closed gate mentioned in the clue and could have driven to the picnic area, as it turned out.

Made this into a longer walk. A new plastic bag might be needed. Great, appropriate stamp. =)

Great carve! Thanks for a nice stop on a long drive!

Clever clues! We were able to drive down to the picnic area. No problem at all. Everything was fine with your box. Thanks for planting!

We parked and walked down towards the picnic area when two cars drove by us -- the area is now open to cars!!

After we got the box, and while stamping in at a picnic table across the way, a 3rd car pulled in and parked facing the tree!!

We walked back up to our car with the box in hand. Then we had a heck of a time (going the wrong way) of driving down to the picnic area ourselves and using our van as cover to rehide the box.

Also, Canadian streets are not on our GPS, this made things interesting. Thanks for the fun find.

Too bad they are have closed off (vehicular) access to these picnic areas. I always prefer to stop at the picnic areas instead of the mad rush in the "highway foodcourt". At least the area hasn't been paved to make for more parking lot. Really enjoyed the clues, took me a round or two to notice that oddly-placed reference point. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

What a great set of clues...I was so curious reading them and laughed when we arrived. Super cute stamps. Everything is dry but the log book is requires careful handling since it's fragile. We had been sitting on the grass having a snack not ten feet away from the LB! Such a shame that the picnic area is closed to cars.
