Now I see why I couldn't find it. As BBT said the area has been cut down with lots of cut logs all over the place and lots of stumps. Tried a number of different stumps but the clues didn't fit. I'm quite impressed with BBT's ability to find it without any extra help.

The area has been pretty badly muggled and a lot of trees have been cut down . . . but we still managed to find it . . . it wasn't easy . . . but glad we succeeded.
