Wow two Kirbert carves for the price of one. Wanted to do some kayaking on Black Creek and stopped to find these on the way - something I've been meaning to do for years but seem to forget every single time we drive by on the QEW.

All is well!

Kirbert has some amazing airplane carves. We have found several in Florida. Very excited to find 2 in Canada!

We enjoyed touring past the airport....and the little detour for this box. The bugs were trying to protect the box, but we managed to give 'em the slip (er, I mean 'squish'). Another award-winning Kirbert carve!! :) Thanks.

Such a great carve of a natural enemy. The little airport had a real live Hawker Hurricane XII ("P2970" "US-X" RCAF5481 C-FDNL (airworthy) - according to my research). Thanks so much.

We were treated to a great display of air acrobatics while we were heading to find this box. At first we thought it was a model airplane, but as we got closer realized that the plane doing the rolls and dives and loops was a full sized plane. This is one of those stamps that will always evoke that special memory.

Awesome series

walked right by this one. Didn't spot the chain link fence until I was walking back to the intersection. Great hiding spot!

Yet another great carve by Kirbert - such fine lines for the propellers!
