Had a good look around, found a few bottles and a slipper but no box. Was surprised to find the Knights of the Round Table practicing for battle on the lawn near the parking lot (seriously, there were a dozen people dressed as knights and swinging medieval weapons at each other). Entertaining to say the least; apparently this is a long-running tradition, so future seekers might consider a monday-summer-evening visit.

Loved this stamp and experience. We were able to visit the birds and hear them talk and learn more about the sanctuary. The mother peacock had JUST had her chicks ---- all around worth a visit. The stamp was great. Had a bit of a tricky time finding it, thank goodness for our flashlight. A+++

Great stamp and super sweet location - we had so much fun hanging out at the aviary! Thanks for bringing us here.

We went on a Sunday, and found so many beautiful birds to look at. The white cockatiel put on a lovely feather show for us, and several of the birds said a cheery hello. We also got to see them all getting a spray bath.

Landmarks were a little tricky now that the summer foliage is lush, but we eventually found the excellent hiding spot. This stamp is just beautiful.

A wonderful Mothers' Day find with our 3 little peeps and a friend new to letterboxing. Thanks!

We saw a few deer out wandering around us while we found the box!

Got here on a Saturday so didn't get to go in to see the birds. But had a look from the gate and could see a peacock in a cage with an amazing display of tail feathers. Some of those birds are very loud (I'm guessing the peacock). To me it sounded like a cow in distress. =). LOVED the hand carved stamp. Thanks Bumble.
