I am hoping everything is find with this little box. We could not check on it today as Petrolia Discovery is closed and the driveway in was gated.

I visited the Petrolia Discovery once or twice as a kid growing up in Sarnia. Today I found this box easily enough and also found the Discovery site to be closed. Looks like it has fallen on hard times: http://www.theobserver.ca/2016/04/04/tax-break-but-no-news-on-summer-plans

I stopped and picked this one up on my way through Petrolia today. The inside of the box looked like it had got wet at some point but all is dry now. I put everything in a zip lock baggie. The box was not wired up...it was in the bush right behind the tree at a squirrel's eye level. I couldn't find anything to wire it back up so returned it to the bush and covered it with pine cones.

Found the box at the base of the deciduous bush behind the conifer. Really nice carve. Visited the little river park across the street to enjoy some French fries from a food truck--delish. All in all a great time was had by all. Thanks for planting!!

Nice carve! Found it where previous person found it. It was intact.

Found the box on the ground all apart....lid far from rest but did find it. Put box back together and hid it at the base of the deciduous bush behind the conifer.

FTF ! Down from Owen Sound with RubberRabbit and The Happy Bee for a family reunion. Really nice quiet park, and grabbed the nearby geocache before heading to see the rest of the family.

Pretty park in Petrolia ...I grew up not too far from here. Box was lying on the ground (looks like it fell out of it's hiding spot), so I tucked it back in place. Thanks! :)
