Very nice carve. A lot of the stones have ant hills around them. We found an interesting marker with a little stone alcove with an angel inside it and spots for candles - I'd never seen that before. I thought that was quite nice. We also checked out the retreat area behind the Ave Maria arch - quite a lovely location. I wasn't expecting that. The church also has some lovely stained glass windows. We could really appreciate the beauty of this location! Thanks!

There was a lot of activity going related to collection of items for a garage sale so we studied a number of gravestones before we went to find the box when there were no observers. This is a great addition to the series

I always wanted to stop at the Lourdes Grotto....
so....today was the day and being Good Friday....
the timing was just right.
we found it quite interesting..
and I found out was a cairn was...lol
