Logging old find (6/29/14). This was so much fun to find and I LOVED the idea of the microboxes. Sorry to see that this is retired now.

Took us a whole year to do it but we came back and found the rest of the series! (Last year we only found 4 because we began our hunt at dusk!) Found all 8 stamps this afternoon, all were good except the box containing Spring Flower and logbook. Box is broken and contents were frozen solid together. A couple of the canisters were laying out in the open? But now all 7 canisters have been re-hidden at the bases of the surrounding trees under rocks. Loved this series, thank you so much for planting! Was a perfect way to work off the Christmas Breakfast calories this afternoon with a crisp, cold and sunny hike in one of my favorite parks!

What a wonderful idea! Loved finding all the little microboxes, and living the legend that "in CT, all you have to do to find a letterbox is turn over a rock"! Unfortunately, the box with the log book was not in the 2 sister oak, but exposed on a side trail about 20 ft away, open with the logs soaked and the stamp missing. Put that box back into the tree, sorry to not get that stamp - the others are awesome!

Looked and looked and then looked again but couldn't find the sapling cluster. Really enjoyed this series!

Wasn't sure this would still be there because it is listed as limited time. Thank you for leaving them out, as my wife and daughter had a fun time looking for their first boxes!
