Found #4 McQueston Bridge in October; walked from Dundurn Castle where parking is free so it was a $0 tour in the end :)

Found #2 Niagara Escarpment today, completing the series in record time (a mere 7 months). I never expected to find them all so I'm so happy to have the completed image in my logbook. Having lived in Hamilton since 2006, I didn't expect to see anything new on this tour but today's trek to box #2 was totally unexplored area for me so I thank you for that.

Found #3, McMaster. I'm all too familiar with much of the campus, and had a good mental picture of the location for this one, but was dreading the business and lack of cover from so many passerby's. But a Monday evening in July turned out to be the perfect time.

Thought we'd give The City of Waterfalls a try since we were in the area, in spite of the last log, from 2013, suggesting that it was missing. Enjoyed the view. We have driven by a few times but never stopped to look, so we never saw..until today. Checked for the stamp on both sides of the bridge, but no luck. Decided that it indeed must be missing. Got distracted by a benchmark on one end of the bridge (another find-it type hobby of mine). Decided to take another quick look in the guardrail and surprise, there it was right were it was supposed to be, right where we searched earlier. So we're 3 for 3 with 3 more to go :) The girls did not bring their logbooks so we'll be back another time for them to get the stamp images. Thanks Bumble.

Visited Bayfront Park and found #5 (Waterfront) while at the park. Stopped by Dundurn Castle and found #6. All is well with those two. Hope to try for the others before too long. very nice stamps, can't wait to see the full image.

Tried for the first two with Bright Light RN, but no luck - we searched all along the guard rail for The City of Waterfalls but no sign of it (beautiful spot, though!), and there has been work done at the Niagara Escarpment spot and I believe the whole guard rail has been replaced since the last posted find! :( We'll try the others another day!

The city of waterfalls is well and available :)

Even if there wasn't a letterbox at every location this would be a great tour of Hamilton. The letterboxes are the icing on the cake. It took us the full day as we explored all the different areas. Love the stamps and how they all go together to make an wonderful image to remind us of our visit.

Nov 6 2011 - Did 3 more $1 tour letterboxes. First the Waterfall box - a view from the top of the falls. The stamp is nicely tucked away.

2nd box was the Escarpment box. A nice stroll down the escarpment and what a view. How cool to have a stamp to find at this location.

3rd box Bates Residence. It was nice to be able to park right next to the stamp. It wasn't too busy at the residence so I was able to retrieve it and put it back without much difficulty. Nice stamp section, goes well with the McMaster location.

From what we've seen so far, awesome! Can't wait to finish up and see the final product. Nice to find some boxes after a not-so-succesful boxing day. Thanks :)

Oct 28 2011 Found 1 of the 6 pieces. Enjoyed the visit to the beautiful grounds of the Dundurn castle. The area the box is in was a nice out-of-the-way spot. Great carving. I'm looking forward to piecing the puzzle together.
