Nice find, and an easy walk...just beware of some icy spots if you go in the winter or early spring like I did.

Great find, beautiful trail. About 2 thirds of the way down the boardwalk there is a missing plank, watch your step.

No chickadees came to visit but we did meet several chipmunks. Left a bag of sunflower seeds for all to enjoy after we'd gone.

We beat the rain and fed the chickadees. I put some sunflower seeds on the roof patio.

Perfect way to end our afternoon 'boxing spree! Amazing wilderness location in the middle of nowhere - and a truly lovely stamp. Thank you! We didn't see any chickadees but I did get accosted by two brightly colored snakes on the way to the box. Must be a nest not far off.

We set out early on Good Friday morning - crisp, clear and cold. The chickadees were reluctant to take the seeds, and we had to be very patient.

After finding the box (excellent carve!), we finished the hike loop. What a great walk. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the experience with the chickadees at the boardwalk. :) I overshot the final and picked the wrong tree. The correct tree is in fact more unique then the others. Fantastic workmanship on the final and funny too (after reading the container lid (p.s. I did wonder)). Loved the stamp, a lovely reminder of the trip and again I really like your stamp pocket idea.
