This is our 6th letterbox find, and what a great find it was! We found a few boxes in the spring but didn't have a personal stamp so we put letterboxing aside until we could get the tools needed to make one. Well, we did search in a few large craft stores for carving tools and blocks but found none. So, we came up with a stop-gap measure - used a white eraser and an exacto knife to create a stamp, nothing fancy but at least it's ours. So now we are back in the game and a trip to Markham gave us the opportunity to stop and find this box. Glad to find the area quiet today. The box and stamp are in great shape. We enjoyed looking through the book at some of the stamps, wow such creativity and artistic ability. My wife, who really is not into these "find a box" or "visit this location" hobbies even admired the book and the stamp and stamped it into her bullet journal (daytimer), so maybe she will like letterboxing after all. I cleaned up the seal on the box since mud is starting to creep in. Should be good for a while, but hopefully it won't sit for another 30 months until found again.

Quick find today for Jiggs and I while making a quick stopping the area while on our way to a Buffalo gathering. Another great Dilbert carve.

Wonderful carve of a classic French jet! Watched these flying with the IAF in Beersheva in the early '90s.

Stopped off to get this box on the way to Box On! in Markham. Got to see some planes taking off - Hatchling and Tough Duck were thrilled. Thanks!

Our last stop on the way to the big BoxON event in Markham. We were able to stamp in just before the rain shower began, and really liked the excellent carve. Thanks.

Another amazing Kirbert carve, and a lovely hiding spot. Great view of the planes coming and going! Definitely worth the detour on the way to Box-ON. :) Thanks!

After crawling around at the wrong end of the bushes I realize that I really must learn my directions :)

Love the carve, and the solid backing.
