sadly, the tree has been given a haircut and the box is gone

I'm quite sure this is gone. The tree has been trimmed.

Sad to report we believe this one is now missing due to tree limb cutting.

Out enjoying record-breaking warm temperatures this Christmas Eve day. Found the box on the ground; searched for the wire to which it was once attached but found none. Who keeps taking the wire? Set it on a branch for now, seemed to visible on the ground. Thanks canadianboo1412 for the letterbox and merry Christmas.

I got the box tied back up where it should be

The box is no longer tied up. I didn't have a way to fix that, so I put it back on the ground directly where it had fallen. This inn is beautiful! I also left an HH for the next finder.
