Had a few hours this afternoon while in the Thornhill area, and I planned and prepared to take the "short" drive over to Milne Dam Conservation Park to try for as many of the Box ON 2012 boxes as I could fit in. The first adventure was Highway 7 between Young and McCowan, I just don't what to say...I don't know that I have ever stopped for so many red lights in my entire life! But finally made it to the park and it was a fantastic late afternoon to search for letterboxes, although maybe not so great for finding. I think there have been some major redevelopments at this park and also just a lot of visitors and in searching for the 13 box from the two "Mysteries of the" series I only managed to find one box. I knew it would be a challenge for sure but never thought it would be that bad. Here's my comments from this series. I think the entire access from Drakefield has been redeveloped, along with several new bridges along the main trail between the Drakefield access and the dam. It's a fenced-in boardwalk from the Drakefield access all the way to the chain link fence. Serpent Mound might still be there but cannot be accessed. Coral Castle is missing and I think the bridge was replaced in 2014. Pretty confident to say that Nazca Hummingbird and Bermuda Triangle are also missing. Those are the only 4 in this series that I searched for.

Fabulous carving - very befitting for find #3000! Thank you!

Got all of them but 1 ... great series a
that we managed to finish up in the dark.

Loved these boxes! Great location, beautiful carves, only problem was we couldn't find the "Korean Forest" mentioned in one of the clues. Other than that, everything was great!

Such a great variety of carves. I was lucky to have a couple of five-year-olds along to help me spot the extra-tricky hides!

Great job to all the carvers. 5's all around. I loved the detail on the Coral Castle- Rubber Rabbit- fantastic, loved Machu Picchu, Teotihaucan was great too. I loved being able to stamp in the Nazca Hummingbird with the artist herself. Great series.

Loved the walk in the park with my dog and meeting fellow boxers. Hooked up with Jay Birds and with LLBB for a couple of finds. Met FBTI and family at the Bermuda Triangle. The treasure map was beautifully crafted and fun to follow. Great assortment of stamps. Some great handcrafted logbooks. I was especially intrigued by the stick binding. Thanks Bumble!

Super fun series, great carving on all the stamps and the 'treasure map' was amazing!

Beautiful carvings in this series. We learned about some new mysteries that we hadnt heard about before. Very well thought out. Great job on the map....these stamps truly were "treasures".

An absolutely outstanding series. Area 51 had the most fun clue we've ever read. The Coral Castle carving was a tour de force, but all the images, especially arranged together in my book, are visually stunning. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this series.
