Box was out in the open (now under bark) - otherwise was in good shape. As others said, the big tree has fallen. Caution so others don't do what I did...there is lots of dead branches in there...don't think the "strong" branch is strong! I took a hard tumble when coming down from a log making my way to the box because the branch was hollow. Nice to hear a family with kids playing in the spring weather.

Nice carve, clue was a bit tricky to follow, 'big tree in distance' has fallen, or should be noted that it is a fallen tree. Also, I recommend wearing jeans as there is stinging nettle and other prickly plants in your path!!

Safe and sound! It was right out in the open though. I re-hid it well under some bark. Lots of fishermen out. Probably wondering what i was doing!

It was a nice fall day today and the clues were straightforward and easy to follow.

What a very sweet little town. A couple of people were out fishing when I went hunting down the box.

In high summer it's extremely lush in there, and it takes careful looking to find all the landmarks. I worked hard for this one, but I'm glad I was finally able to find it.

Cute little area to stop by. Watched some people fishing for a bit but the skeeters chased us away. Thanks for bringing us here :)

its boxes like this, hidden in great areas that would have never been seen if not for letterboxing that make this so exciting. Very cute stamp too!! bring your markers to get the best results.

Always nice to visit New Dundee. Stopped by the pottery and stained glass store as I always do when I visit. Thanks for the introduction to the back area of the dam, I have never been to this side of the pond/lake. Pretty little town to grow up in. Sweet stamp. Thanks for the adventure Hound Dog Girls. :)
