I was disappointed to find a box in very poor condition, wet, not sealed and sitting right out in the open. When I opened the box, it was a geocache so replaced it and searched again. Found the chalet but no HH to take. I could only leave one there as that is all I had with me. The fall leaves were spectacular!

Great location and great stamp! There is a geocache very close to it, so we thought it was that first but found it eventually! Very excited to move the hitchhiker we found!

Found the Celtic Animal Series first and was about to drive over to the Ski resort until I read the clue more carefully. It was a great stamp and my first hitchhiker box. I'll have to try and figure out a good spot to drop off my new friend.

First letterbox find - what a great way to start! Watch out for falling crab apples.

This has to be my favourite find of the day. I fantastic old letterbox with a rich history hidden within its logbook. In particular, I got to see Lone R's signature stamp from 2007 - craziness. Fantastic box, well hidden, and in perfect dry condition.

A very nice find and great introduction to the concept of "hitchhikers". We're (my daughter and I) new to letterboxing and didn't have any stamps to leave and so didn't take any...but we plan to return! The letterboxes stamp was nicely carved. Thank you!

Beautiful stamp and what an amazing place Hockley Valley is. I enjoyed finding it too. It was a pleasant suprise to find all the Hitch Hikers and Cooties.

Thank you for a lovely Chalet to visit. I found Ham Hocks, A blue Ghost and A mad boy cootie there visiting too. Makes it interesting trying to retrieve and re-hide as there is a restuarant right there. This is half the fun. There were no Raspberries yet, but the Picnic tables were a good place for a coffee and a Muffin. Thank you for a great location. I visited the Eagles Nest Apiary for honey too. Yum. Thanks Padfoot.

What lucky hitchhikers to be living in such a pretty part of Ontario. There have been frequent visitors beyond those logged here. The box had been left in disarray but I got all the right stamps/books in the right baggies before dropping off a flea.
