Very cool cemetery. We found another letterbox while here.
Interesting story and we were intrigued because all the stones in this family plot are the same even though they all died over a range of years. We also discovered that the granddaughter if this man was a WW2 ferry pilot and her plane crashed and that is why she died in service. We love these kinds of boxes where we find out things about people that we wouldn't other know anything about. Box was in good shape.

Box was wet, but we put silica packets in the box and dried everything off best we could. Beautiful stamp for a beautiful memorial

Great carve!! Lark and I replaced the paper towels and add a silica pack to dry it up because it was rather wet :)
