Great carve! The box was lying out in the open so we tucked it back again

Awesome carve - such clear lines. We re-hid this box, it was laying about 2 feet away from the tree, completely exposed.

Second time is a charm! Had to use all my puny strength to wrestle this box out of the overgrown clutches of this tree... Great Kirbert for my collection.

Very cool stamp. We loved Bob's parking spot. It was hard to decide which was more interesting, the stamp or watching planes come in.

Very quiet at the airport this evening. I cant believe how small some of the planes are...I dont think that I would be brave enough to go up in some of them. We were able to easily locate the box and stamp in unobtrusively. Kirbert---your skill is incredible.

I fell at least twice retrieving the 'box, but it was worth it - always a pleasure to find another Kirbert stamp :) The 'box was just sitting there on the ground, exposed and covered with snow. I wedged it back in the tree hidden away. Hope I did a good enough job hiding my tracks.

Another great carve! Got here at dusk and was worried about getting caught in there, needed a flashlight to find it.

A lovely spring day for our first find of 2011, and it was even more special with it being a Kirbert stamp and a Fiddlehead adventure. It was great to see this little flying community and a nice little bi-plane on one of the front lawns sure addeded to the atmosphere. Thanks for the fun.

This search took us into a whole other world-that of private planes. It was very interesting, and always amazes me how many people can be involved in each different activity (like letterboxing:)
The schnauzers had a great walk, and we found an intricately carved stamp. Thank-you! This is the first of the year.

What fun! We stopped as suggested to see if the Tiger Boys were home, and we were in luck. What a lovely gentleman. He showed our boys around the hanger and explained about the materials and the process to rebuild a plane. We almost did not get to the box as they wanted to stay longer. The Tiger Boys did not know about the Letter Box- I guess others have not stopped in or there was no on in. So we made a copy of the stamp and brought it back to the hanger to share with them!

The things you learn Letter Boxing! Thank you Fiddleheads.
