Box Comments

Box #3 is possibly still there, but we looked everywhere we could think of. We didn't see the last comment from 2016. We may give it another shot in a few weeks if we make it back to the same area.

Box #4 needs help desperately but the stamp is still there! Log book was tossed because of mold.

Box #3 at the Dredge
Things have changed over the past several years and the box can be found more like 9 steps from the back corner of the "outhouse". The four aspens that are joined as one - well the two to the right have fallen down and I found the box to the right of the two fallen. The box was broken and the the log book damp. I replaced the box with one that won't last very long and the ziploc I was able to find is not the best. If someone is headed up that way could you please take a locknlock, or comparable, sandwich size would be best. The orginal stamp is long gone and someone was kind enough to carve a replacement. I did take a picture of the original carving image so if anyone wants to replace it just AQ mail me and I will be happy to send you the picture :-)

Found one and four doing well. We didn't stop for 3. Five was present but had been geocached with a trinket and no stamp. Thanks for a fun day exploring.

Enjoyed this series. Note to Cadenza--Box #4 the log book was very wet, we didn't open the baggie and log in although we did find it. We liked box #1 and #4's stamps the best. However, #3 fit the hiding place perfectly.

Wish we had had time to do all the boxes. I love these series that show you a bit of local history! Thanks!

Could not find Box #2 - a lot of work seems to have been done in the cemetery - big slash piles all around - so I'm wondering if it was moved? dislocated? thrown out by workers who didn't know what it was?
Or maybe I just didn't find it.........................................
Didn't have time to stop and look for #3, but the others were fun! Enjoyed having a series of them near each other too.

We were unable to find box 2 at all, found box 3 but there was no stamp in it. Fun series though!
