I tried to find this today, but no luck. I found the tree near the Air cadet building, but there was no greenery behind it, only grass. At first I thought I might have the wrong tree, but it was the only near this building

Great stamp! My daughter was so excited about the museum too! We had no idea it was there!

The marker is dried out though..

Great old plane carve of Kirbert's... This one is from 2008 - I also found one of his 2012 carves today - it's pretty impressive to go from amazing carve to I-think-that-looks-store-bought-even. Crazy.

Had a really good time at this one. We had a look at the airplanes and in the museum too! We found two big rabbits guarding the letterbox. The stamp was really lovely so Thankyou!

Lovely sunny Day for a letterbox hunt. Great carve too. Found the box being guarded by a mother and baby rabbit. Thanks for a neat set of clues too.

We checked out the heritage planes. As we had been to the Billy Bishop house in Owen Sound and to the Greenwood Cemetery for the Billy Bishop letterbox, It was neat to see a replica of the plane he flew. Thank you for a great site

A cute little box, in an out-of-the-way spot!
Great carving!

Another great carve. The end of a long event day in the rain.... but worth the stop!!

Neither rain nor dark nor tired feet will keep us from seeking out a Kirbert carve! :)

I had no idea there was an airport out here. Good size airport for small planes, bigger than Guelph's airport. Lot's of activity in the hangars today. Very good instructions, quick find. The craftmanship of a Kirbert stamp always has me in awe. He has an amazing ability to carve fine straight lines - the stamp image comes out looking like a commercial stamp - no stray lines. The addition of the marker to fill in the image makes for a great completion to the image. I highly recommend this letterbox. Thanks Fiddleheads and Kirbert. -- Lone R
