We struggled with this one and we hope the next person finds it. The field is overgrown and we never did find the V

We spent quite a bit of time today trying to find this box with no luck. We will search again another day as we think we were close but the landscape has changed a bit and the paths are not easy to decipher. Good Luck!

took a bit of searching to find the telephone pole, clearing has been done & the pole is starting to decay, but it is there.. fun to find!!

Hello Travelers 4. We finally found your box. We couldn't find the start of the trail into the easement. We finally decided that "This must be the place." Actually, someone was coming out and we asked him. Then we went around the trail about 4 times. We were looking for something the "Looked" like a telephone pole. When we finally found the pole we found the box. Rehide it better than we found. Same place. Thanks for the Gorilla, It is a cute stamp. Butterfly Jane , Poplar Bluff, Missouri

I’m so glad I finally found this!! I have looked a couple of times (with a toddler), but we found it today. The fenced in field is no longer there. It is basically one path now and the final “V” with the telephone pole is not obvious. It could have been that I thought I was still looking for the field. I was able to look at an overhead map from 2010 to see where things once were. The telephone pole looks like a decayed fallen tree. But is visible from the main path. Log book is full and damp, but overall, everything is good. Loved the carve.

Great Stamp! Sadly, there were no butterflies to be seen this visit.
