Description

Join us for this year's Western NY summer event at Royalton Ravine Park (click here for park detail and a map)! We'll have clue books available for folks that need them, so don't worry about printing up anything inside the park. This is always a family friendly occasion and we always have surprise out-of-town guest stars, so don't miss out.

As usual, LBNY T-shirts and patches are still available! The shirts are through Cafe Press so you can order them yourselves at http://www.cafepress.com/lbwny and the patches (based on the logo from the shirts, but with more color) will be available at the event. They're $2 each, but if you want yours sooner, send that plus $1 Shipping & Handling via Paypal (contact us for our Paypal address!).

Aug 13, 2011: Camping Portion Cancelled!
Hey, folks...we're going to go ahead and cancel the camping part of this event. None of our usual Canadian or Fingers Lakes visitors are coming with a need to lodge somewhere, so it's just not worth it to hold a weekend worth of sleeping outside and sharing one bathroom when we can all just go to our own houses in comfort! ;-)

We WILL still be going to dinner with everyone afterward and returning for some night/dusk boxing around 8:15-8:30. Come as late as you want to get as close to it being dark as you can, but the park closes at 9 and we pick the boxes up at 8:50 sharp...don't be late!

Finally, we're about to start planting Monday and clue posting Thursday, so be on the look out for the addition of a box clue link to this page.

Aug 16, 2011: Official Website now active!
Finally have the official website for our event up and running so everyone can see the the day's schedule, directions to the park and more (click the website link below). The clues will be posted online by Thursday evening, but the link to the clue page is already also on the website.

Aug 18, 2011: Clues are Posted!
The clues for the stamps are up! You can go right to the web page for the clues (http://thesprite.orgfree.com/letterboxing/gclues8.htm), or just go to the AQ event page and do a Nearby Boxes search. All three series will show up, along with the other boxes in and around the park.

Note: Sprite's Leisurely Dilemma Series has the containers out, but the stamps are still being carved. If you try to search these before Saturday, you might be out of luck (unless you bump into me on the trail in the next 24 hours!)

Aug 21, 2011: Clue corrections listed!
Okay, folks, we added in the clarifications needed on the clues and posted the clues directly to their respective AQ pages. If you printed these before today, be SURE to reprint before going out to search. Thanks again for a wonderful event and we'll see you all at Hallowed Grounds, I hope! ;-)
