Description

This is a holiday themed event at Bond's Lake Park. This event is to get us out and moving after the holidays. Bond's lake has many trails and if the weather cooperates they also have outdoor ice skating and snow tubing. They have out door pavillions and if the warming house is open this day, we will meet there. I will keep you updated on the location as the event grows closer. Boxes will be hidden according to the weather and how much snow is on the ground.

If you would like to donate stamps to this event, that would be greatly appreciated. It is a holiday themed party so any stamp that revolves around that theme would work. AQ mail me if you are willing to donate a stamp.

Nov 13, 2011: Getting Ready
I am hoping that all of you attending can carve your signature stamps to be holiday themed. I think this will make the stamp exchanges a bit different. I am working on "ornaments" to hide some of the stamps in. This way we can get out and hike a little on the groomed trails.

I am still looking for stamp donations. If you are interested in donating, AQ mail me. I will keep you posted with other details as we get closer.

Nov 20, 2011: Update
I just wanted you to know that I was able to confirm that the warming house will be open at Bond's Lake the day of our event. This is a large building, with restrooms, picnic tables, a large fireplace with fire to warm ourselves in between boxing and electric for crock pots or what ever you may have in mind. For those of you carving and donating stamps, thank you so much.

Dec 6, 2011: Grinch Fest Update
It is like Santa's workshop getting all the stamps ready for the event. For those of you doing donations, I would like them by 12/16/11. For those of you who have already sent your stamps, thank you!

Reminder to carve your signature stamps with a holiday theme. This event is open to event stamps. Feel free to list them in the event stamp section. Start finalizing you potluck dishes and adding them to the potluck section.

All of us working on the Grinchfest 2011 are super excited to be hosting this event and look forward to seeing everyone.

Dec 20, 2011: Grinchfest Patches
Just so you all know. The Grinchfest patches are awesome! I have uploaded a picture of the patch to the event page. Please take the time to check it out.

These patches will be available at the event for a cost of $10.00.
