Description

The Big and Little Blue Teams are are planting a series of boxes honouring the amazing trails systems around St. Thomas, Ontario.

We did some serious research to find the perfect place to plant our newest letterboxes and realized that Dan Patterson Conservation Area has only a couple of geocaches and absolutely no letterboxes. All of our other area boxes are being checked and updated and we are planting a couple more in St. Thomas as well.

If you check out the weather forecast it seems we should be having some very excellent weather on May 18th.

Please join us for a day of fun, friendship and letterboxing. We will be posting all the clues on Friday afternoon on Atlas Quest and copies of all our clues will be available when we meet up on Saturday at Dan Patterson Conservation Area as well.

The Big Blue Team will be at the Conservation Area from 8:30 to 10:30 am and then we will be heading to a surprise location to prepare a barbecue lunch for everyone. Clues to our surprise location will be provided to everyone Saturday morning. And yes there will be a box there as well. If you would like to provide a salad, snack, drinks or dessert for lunch that would be wonderful. We will be providing hot dogs and hamburgs and a garden salad.

May 17, 2013: I hope I can sleep tonight . . . I'm pretty excited . . .
Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday!

Talk about leaving things to the last minute. Taylor and I went out yesterday to plant the last couple of boxes and the groundskeepers were there mowing lawns, etc so we couldn't hide them. This meant we just finished planting the last few boxes tonight . . . sheesh!!!

I know that Atlas Quest will send out a thank you and remember to post your finds letter . . .

But Hal & I would personally like to thank you for coming out today. We love the incentive to get out and plant and the chance for a visit.
