September 3.. where does the time go? :)
Preparations for Box ON! 2015 are going well. There will be 12 new boxes in place for the day, (plus a few other things) Many thanks to people who have donated carvings.
So, on the 19th, Please aim to gather at 9am for Exchanges, Event Boxes, swapping Stories and also for picking up your clues. There will be a potluck BBQ lunch and a Raffle. Don't forget to bring your Personal Travelers.
September 16 Update... no I'm not stressed. :)
Boxes are getting planted, clues are being printed up.
And more information on Lunch,,, We will provide hotdogs at lunch time, and the fixings... Please bring along whatever else you might like to share for a potluck... We have a couple of desserts coming and some salads. I will bring paper plates etc.
I will also have some water available, but maybe bring your own refillable water bottles. There's a water fountain near our area. I will bring a kettle too, and tea and coffee, so bring a travel mug as well. I'll have some cups too.
Directions... Lake Ontario Park is at 920 King St West in Kingston. If you are coming from the 401, take the Sir John A MacDonald exit, and follow Sir John A to the end, and a right turn will have you on King Street. The park is a few blocks away on your left.
As you walk from the parking lot, you will see a pavilion. We will be in the area to the left of the pavilion... I'll make a sign. :)
wheww... back to carving, just a couple more to do :)
Please let me know if you have questions.
See you Saturday!!!
