Hotels in the area... A search will yield several others for all kinds of price ranges...A search of hotels should include Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, even Windham which are all within 15-20 mins of the event....

I wanted to inform everyone to some format changes concerning our event. Due to contractual restrictions we are revising the theme to a more Festival "Gala" setting.
So the event Title is changing to fit the theme a bit better!

It will still incorporate costumes/characters from the last 40 years of Entertainment, Movies and Music, however the Quantum leap/time travel aspect will be de emphasized a bit....Attendees will be asked to help solve a "timeless" mystery so it will not disappear completely.

The organizers have added both an evening night boxing program we like to call "Operation Phoenix"
more on that to come.......it is important that you bring flashlights and or headlamps :)

** SEPT ** THEME Revealed!

Our theme combines 2 things. It will be a kinda Quantum Leap/Sliders/Voyagers (time travel) between the various retro areas. The attendees will be seeking to solve the mystery of the manor.What it is, where is the family etc ? Our hope is that we will be doing a non traditional approach to the potluck . Do contact the buxton boxers on AQ for more info on "SHell's Kitchen."

costume resources online. I encourage everyone to NOT feel they need to buy a special costume for this event. If Kids already have one planned or purchased its fine and will work.

**AUGUST Announcement** Characters welcome ! Costume theme for the 2008 Frightnight Event, is any figure, icon from the late 60's to the present from Entertainment, Music ,TV or Movies. For the children it means basically any costume would work, so its not necessary for the kiddos to Have to get a special outfit.. FOR THE TEENS and ADULTS I hope you will extend your creativity!!! One of the consultants here, PJ Boggs aka the Letterboxing Maestro, a new but quite creative individual, has compiled a link on AQ under the profile which takes you to Youtube.com and videos of some the many possibilities!
If you have an idea please email me and so I can add you to the Guest List as your character.

IN the beginning !

I have secured the Moloch Manor in Gorham, ME, with the help of an extensive legal team, some heavy insurance policies and well lets just say some " financial " assistance to appropriate concerns. The Manor has not seen much activities since well an "incident in the past" lets call it.

IN the months to follow I hope you will consider helping us unlock the the years of history of this manor or " the generations" . More details to come!
