Description
Another in my series of LTC's honoring artwork! I'd love to see a swap of cards recreating the posters of the WPA. Since they're posters, they're already roughly proportional to LTC and are perfect for a project like this.
The WPA created more than 2,000 posters covering subjects from travel, to health programs, and more from 1936-1943. It was 'art by the people, for the people', putting artists at work and creating a style that has become representative of the time period.
To participate in this swap, choose any poster created by the WPA on any subject and reproduce it as closely as possible. Please include at least the large wording so that you are faithfully following their project goal.
The Library of Congress has the largest digitized collection of posters searchable by keyword:
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/wpaposters/wpapossubjindex1.html
Although the subjects are so widely varied that they have only a few under each main idea. You can also find a huge variety of NPS posters being reprinted on eBay or websites like this Ranger Doug's:

A simple Google Images search will turn up thousands of examples!
Let's avoid duplicating posters since there are so many. All typical standards apply please, and card image must be hand-carved.
