DIY snow globe: glue an ornament to bottom of glass jar lid. Add water and glitter to jar. Screw lid on jar and flip over.

Would one of those meds that relax cats for travel help?

When we had cats and had to cut their nails, we would hold them by the scruff of the neck and they would roll up like they were being carried by their mother. That way it's very easy to cut the nails. I'm sure you could use this method too to put ear drops in their ears. If the cat is heavy, the person holding the cat by the scruff should balance the weight in his other hand.

I didn't think of it. I got it from someone else, but I don't remember who. But, it works. I get a message any time a watched box is changed.

It's been a while since I had cats, but I had medicine for hairballs that smelled like molasses that my cat LOVED. I would open the tube of medicine and let him lick the tube (not squeeze any medicine out), he would try desperately to get some out. It distracted him enough so I could treat his ears.
