My aunt took quilts like this that belonged to my grandmother. She cut them up to make teddy bears. As each new baby joined the family they received one of them.

Yes!!!! Don't throw them out. There are collectors who restore and preserve quilts because they are a part of history. Especially since they were usually made with flour sacks and out grown clothes, not the specialty fabrics that we now have for that reason. Where are you located? Send me a message and I might be able to put you in touch with someone who could give you some more information.

I agree donβt throw them out! Even damaged they are worth something. As stated above, they can be recrafted into pillows or wall hangings also!

How about donating to a quilt museum. There is one in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Speaking of WARP drive, for interstellar travel, I wear plain satin... make of that what you twill.

I twill cotton. In other news, the drives took me from 0 to 3 looms in 60 days.

That is a playful, forest picture. Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of some signs that we have on our property. The last sign points toward the exit. π

I wouldn't say it's easy, but I know some people use an excel spread sheet with the boxes turned into squares. Haha

I used to do that, but with square fabrics and create my own designs

I was toying with the idea last year and downloaded PCStitch, but I didn't really do anything with it as I decided to carve stamps instead. But I don't think it cost much if anything, I rarely throw money at apps.
